Annually, the 天美传媒视频无限制观看 chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu honors two faculty members with Teacher of the Year awards — one undergraduate and one graduate — for their dedication to the teaching profession and for their support of students. This year's Teacher of the Year awards ceremony took place on May 16 at Alumni House.
Nominations are made by students only and are based on scholarship, loyalty, and service: the three pillars of the . The Excellence in Teaching Awards for adjunct faculty were also celebrated at the end-of-semester celebration.
Aaron Q. Weinstein, PhD, assistant professor of politics and director of pre-law advising in the College of Arts and Sciences, was named the undergraduate Alpha Sigma Nu Teacher of the Year.
“I am truly honored to have received this award,” said Dr. Weinstein. “It’s a recognition that is all the more meaningful because it comes from the students. To be sure, I love what I do and work hard at it: but the students should never forget that they are as much responsible for a successful classroom environment as I am.”
