Acrobats on a circus food truck? The Quick Center will present this one-of-a-kind experience at Elicit Brewing Company in Fairfield and the Farmers’ Market in Black Rock in Bridgeport.
The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is taking the U.S. debut performances of Sante! by Quebec’s Cirque Kikasse on the road with outdoor shows at 5 and 6:30 p.m. at Elicit Brewery in Fairfield on Friday, Sept. 27, and at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Farmers’ Market in Black Rock, Bridgeport.
An extraordinary mobile circus featuring trampoline acrobatics and juggling, Cirque Kikasse’s Sante! serves up thrills and treats in a family-friendly, open-air performance on top of a food truck, with snacks and local beer served from the truck.
“When shows couldn’t happen in theatres, professional circus artists took to the streets and the team behind Cirque Kikasse thought, ‘Why not a circus food truck?’” said Lori Jones, director of programming and operations at the Quick. “The Quick Center is excited to partner locally to share world-class artists with the broader Fairfield and Bridgeport communities right in their backyards. What better way to spend an early fall day than with a cold drink, delicious food, and a performance that will leave you wowed?”
The VIP ticket experience includes the best view of the Sante! show, food made by Elicit Fairfield, and a drink. In addition, Cirque Kikasse will sell popcorn for those just enjoying the show.
Elicit Brewing Company is located at 111 Black Rock Tpke. in Fairfield, and the Farmers’ Market at Black Rock is at 481 Brewster St. in Bridgeport.
Cirque Kikasse is supported, in part, by Government Offices of Québec - Boston and New York, Elicit Brewing Co. – Fairfield, Farmer’s Market of Black Rock, Fairfield Lifestyle magazine, In a Fairfield Minute, and WPKN 89.5FM.
