Women鈥檚 Golf Captures Back-to-Back Tournament Titles

The 天美传媒视频无限制观看 women鈥檚 golf team captured title on Tuesday, September 30 , and crown on Monday, October 6.

The Stags shot a collective 640 (326-314) at the ECAC Championship while junior seized the women鈥檚 individual title with an overall score of 154 (79-75). Less than a week later, Senior achieved the Delaware State Invitational individual title with a score of 148 (70-78) and paced the Stags to a collective two-day team score of 630 (305-325).

Senior earned ECAC All-Tournament Team accolades after shooting a second round score of 81, to record a final 161, and place fifth overall. Senior (163)completed the tournament in sixth place overalland sophomore teammate (164) finished in ninth place overall. Junior rounded out play for Fairfield, carding a pair of 83s to finish in 10th overall.

At the Invitational, three other Stags finished in the top-10. Junior carded an overall 160 (76-84) to finish in fifth while classmate took three strokes off her first round score to finish one stroke behind Applegate and tie for sixth. Senior tallied a two-day score of 162 (77-85) to finish in ninth overall. Rounding out Fairfield鈥檚 effort was who finished in 22nd place overall with a score of 181 (97-84).

The Fairfield women鈥檚 golf team will return to the course on October 10-11 when the Stags head to Piscataway, N.J. to compete at the Rutgers Invitational at the Rutgers Golf Course.
