Over $1 Million Raised on STAGiving Day

天美传媒视频无限制观看鈥檚 second annual STAGiving Day on April 21 was a tremendous success and we made history again! The goals of our one-day fundraiser were to raise $650,000 from 1,000 donors. The University community came out in full force and, through generous donations from many supporters, we far exceeded our goals and were able to unlock our challenge gifts. The final results are that gifts from 1,222 donors raised聽$1,043,976 for our students!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great day for Fairfield聽鈥 our Alumni Board, as well as the many alumni, parent and student volunteers. A special shout out to our social media ambassadors who helped spread the word and encourage others to join them in supporting the challenges. Additionally, our student callers reached out to alumni and parents 鈥 thank you for taking their call! And lastly, to the many members of the faculty and staff who worked tirelessly for months to help make the day a success 鈥 thank you.

New this year, we ran special challenges between reunion classes, athletic teams and young alumni and these created excitement for the day and helped to encourage additional support.

"It is not surprising to me that the Stag herd answered the call," said Wally Halas, Vice President for University Advancement. "I only hope that each member of the Fairfield community understands, and values, the impact of this unprecedented support. Thank you all so much.鈥
