When scrolling down the homepage, the user now sees streamlined University information. This provides a space for quick access to timely articles, events, and more. For added ease of use, the new main site navigation takes up less screen space and no longer requires a click to view menu items.
The Parents & Families webpages have now been added to the main site navigation bar. Our new parent-specific web pages are designed to provide families resources needed to ease the college transition process. The new site concludes a six month process in collaboration between the University Marketing and Communications Office, Office of Institutional Research and website provider Neulion. The current design was constructed based on research gathered through the Stags fan base, analyzing user traffic and identifying industry best practices.
The new FairfieldStags.com is a fully responsive website which is optimized for any device. (The official mobile app will be discontinued but please note that the Super Stag app will continue to be used for fans on game day.) The new look and layout is designed to prominently display information that fans consistently seek such as videos created by the University Media Center, live stats and schedules. A "Features" section for each varsity sport will recognize student-athlete and team successes throughout each season. Also, a storefront has been added to the site to continue the growth of the Fairfield Stags brand.
The ticket finder webpages stemming from have enhanced the user experience as well ( and ). If the user clicks on a specific sport that they are interested in purchasing tickets for they will be brought to a page that showcases the athletes using HTML5 video streaming.
