Quick Center Season Announcement Party – May 17

A season unlike any other is coming to the Quick Center for the Arts. Acclaimed Oscar, Emmy, Tony and Grammy winning artists, hometown heroes and a U.S. premiere will make the 2016-17 season at the Quick an unforgettable one. Join us for the season announcement party on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6-7:30 p.m., and be the first to learn more about the exciting programming the new season has in store, including:

  • Celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare with a U.S. premiere of a live opera exploring tyranny, greed and remorse set in the Eastern Provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • Dance that goes vertical when artists perform on the walls of campus buildings.
  • The Open VISIONS Forum, the Quick Center’s signature lecture series, taking on the relevant topics of the day with serious inquiry and a bit of wit.
  • Musical performances inspired by Fado, the American Songbook and African lullabies.

The upcoming season promises to offer a unique experience that will captivate you and change the way you experience art in Fairfield County. “We are thrilled to share such an engaging, stimulating and entertaining season of world-class international and national artists and speakers with our community,” shared Lori Jones, Director of Programming and Audience Development.

Join us for a glass of bubbly and hors d’oeuvres and  gain first access to information about this season’s line-up and how to get the best seats in the house. RSVP by calling the Quick Center Box Office at 203-254-4010 or email the Box Office by Friday, May 6, 2016.
