International Education Week Passport Day, Nov. 17

On Thursday, November 17, 天美传媒视频无限制观看 and the U.S. Department of State will host International Education Week’s Passport Day from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. in the Barone Campus Center Lower Level. At the event, students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to meet with the U.S. Department of State to apply or renew their passport.

This unique opportunity is part of the week-long celebration of diverse cultures represented on our campus and to showcase the benefits of International education and exchange. Students are asked to register for the event in under Life at Fairfield #IEW Passport Day. This is a drop in event from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for all those on campus who would like to participate.

International Education Week begins on November 14 with a kickoff event at 4 p.m. in the Oak Room in the Barone Campus Center. The event will feature performances by the Dance Ensemble, WEEEPA, Dance Fusion and more.

The Center for Faith and Public Life and JUHAN will host their JUHAN Humanitarian Action Day on Tuesday, November 15 at 2 p.m. in the Lower Level of the Barone Campus Center. Join 天美传媒视频无限制观看’s JUHAN Student Club as we commemorate JUHAN Humanitarian Action Day with a simulated refugee camp focused on the plight of South Sudanese refugees. The simulation allows participants to experience what it would be like to register at a refugee camp while allowing them to stand in solidarity with the millions of displaced persons worldwide. After the simulation, JUHAN will host a South Sudan Panel discussion featuring Dr. Jocelyn Borcyzka and her politics class.

International Education Week is a joint university-wide initiative co-sponsored by the Office of Study Abroad, International Studies Department, the Department of Office of Student Engagement, the office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Programs, Center for Faith and Public Life and Campus Ministry.
