3 Reasons Fairfield Is Excited to Be on Buzzfeed

As students return to Fairfield—or begin their freshman year (welcome, #Stags20 Class!)—ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ and Buzzfeed have published a list of Since its publication September 6, the article has been resonating with students, alumni and families alike, who have shared it almost 200 times and given almost 400 reactions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Now, since the listicle is so popular, here are three reasons why ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ is excited to spread the word about Stag Country online:

  1. Everybody at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ has a reason why they love being a Stag, and this list provides something any Stag can relate to—the picturesque campus, a life at the beach or a quick trip to New York City. If what students love about Stag Country made the list, then obviously great minds think alike. If the list missed something, though, students can add it with comments on the post.
  2. Social media is how Fairfield students (and #FutureStags) stay connected to what’s happening on campus. With over 15,000 followers on Facebook, over 8,700 followers on Instagram, and over 30,000 views on Fairfield’s Snapchat posts and filters, it’s clear that Stags rely on the University to stay updated with important news and great content. As its ever growing social following can attest, Fairfield delivers.
  3. Finally, Buzzfeed is an online megaphone for awesome things. The University is excited to amplify its Stag Pride in a big way, and hopes students are too. It’s a great opportunity to show the world the joys of being a Stag.
