Fairfield Night at Citi Field Set for Sept. 20

The New York Mets will once again host ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ Night at Citi Field as the Mets host the division rival Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. The first 1,000 fans to will receive a customized Mets’ hat featuring the Fairfield Stags logo.

Specially-priced ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ seating is available in the Big Apple Reserved Section for $20. Fans are invited to meet at McFadden’s at Citi Field prior to the game, and are encouraged to get to their seats prior to the first pitch, which will once again be thrown by Lucas the Stag!

Two buses exclusively for Fairfield students will head to Citi Field from Barone Campus Center at 4 p.m. Students will receive an e-mail next week to reserve a seat on a first come, first serve basis.

Last September, more than 700 students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends gathered at Citi Field for the inaugural ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ Night. The game began with Lucas the Stag throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Lucas spent the morning and afternoon visiting landmarks and Fairfield alumni in New York City, including an appearance on NBC’s Today Show.
