Xerox Senior Execs To Discuss Business Ethics, Oct. 4

As part of the Dolan School鈥檚 Dean鈥檚 Lecture Series, the Dolan School of Business will present a conversation about business ethics on October 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room. The lecture will feature two panelists, Joe Mancini, Chief Accounting Officer at Xerox Corporation , and Patricia Nazemetz, a former Xerox Human Resources Officer and now Principal and Founder of NAZ DEC LLC , a consultancy for the Talent Age.

The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. David Schmidt, director of the Center for Applied Ethics and associate professor of Management, and will examine complex issues in business ethics. 鈥溙烀来绞悠滴尴拗乒劭 provides our students with essential academic knowledge and skills for their future careers, but what really makes a difference is the practical, real-world experience our panelists will bring to the discussion of business ethics,鈥 explained Dr. Schmidt. 鈥淥ur students can expect to be challenged by gray issues that resist simplistic solutions. 鈥

Panelists Mancini and Nazematz will share their personal insights and experiences, and students will learn what to expect after graduation in regards to the intricacies and issues involving business ethics. 鈥淥ur vision for the Dolan School of Business is that we develop students to be 鈥榚thical business leaders for a global future,鈥欌 said Dr. Donald Gibson, dean of the Dolan School. 鈥淭his panel is an excellent illustration of how we do this: by exposing students to the ethical realities of business life.鈥

The Dean鈥檚 Lecture Series invites leaders from corporate and financial communities to address students and spark discussion on current topics related to business education. The lecture series is a valuable source of perspective for business school students before they enter the professional working world. Students are encouraged to attend and participate in dialogue as they hear from executives in their major area of study.

Students interested in participating should register for the event on OrgSync.
