Glee Club Droppin’ the Millennium Mix Tape Concert, May 3

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ Glee Club, produced by Carole Ann Maxwell, D.S.M., will present their annual Pops concert, Droppin’ the Millennium Mix Tape, on Wednesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The concert will feature performances from the Pops Band, Glee Band, Sweet Harmony and The Bensonians. The program will feature music from Adele, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Gavin DeGraw, Coldplay, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and more.

The concert flows from Broadway to known and not-so-well-known ballads and upbeat songs. The Glee Club will open the evening with "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas and will continue the night’s performance with Lady Gaga’s "Edge of Glory," Sara Bareilles’ "Love Song" and Five for Fighting’s "100 Years." Other selections include Rihanna’s "Diamonds," Justin Timberlake’s "Mirrors," Coldplay’s "Viva la Vida," Lin-Manuel Miranda’s "How Far I’ll Go," Britney Spears’ "One More Time," Miley Cyrus’ "Party in the U.S.A." and Rent’s "Seasons of Love."

The Glee Club will be accompanied by The Pops Band, consisting of Dan Arcamone on guitar, Mike Nunno on bass and Anthony DeQuattro on drums, and The Glee Band, consisting of Marcus DeSouto on bass, Tom Wohlmacher on guitar and Sean Thomas on drums.
