ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ is honoring and celebrating state and local first responders during a men’s basketball game on Sunday, Dec. 17 versus Old Dominion.
“As a university rooted in the Jesuit mission of caring for the whole person, it’s important that we recognize and celebrate those who help maintain our wellbeing,” said Paul Schlickmann, Director of Athletics. “We look forward to welcoming first responders to campus as a key component of our game day atmosphere on the 17 th .”
Events begin at 11:30 a.m. when all children are invited to participate in the Touch-a-Truck event outside Alumni Hall featuring vehicles from the Town of Fairfield Fire and Police Departments, Connecticut State Police, and Connecticut EMS.
Tickets are on sale now at . Fans can bring a new, unwrapped toy for our holiday toy drive to receive discounted admission of $5 for an adult ticket or $3 for a youth (12 and under) ticket.
All Lil' Stags Club members will receive FREE admission to the game. New Lil' Stags Club members can register by noon on Friday, Dec. 15 for only $10 to receive their free ticket. Visit for more information and to register online.
Pregame Breakfast
All fans are invited to a pregame breakfast with Director of Athletics Paul Schlickmann and Special Advisor to the President for Athletics Gene Doris from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Stags Snack Bar on the third floor of the Barone Campus Center. Entry to the breakfast is $5 per person (pay at the door, cash only).
