Students and Employers Mock Interview Day, Jan. 25
On Wednesday, January 25, held in the Kelley Center, 23 local employers will participate in this year鈥檚 Mock Interview Day as students from all majors practice their interview skills and gain real time feedback from professionals. Companies such as Epsilon, BDO, Octagon and BlumShapiro will help students hone their abilities and prepare to enter the workforce.
Mock Interview Day, offered by the Academic and Career Development Center and the Dolan School of Business (DSB), is an opportunity for students to sit face-to-face with a professional in their field and conduct an interview as if it were the real thing. Interviews will be timed and at the conclusion, students will receive real time feedback on their performance, and the professionals will offer pointers to develop the students' skills and confidence. Students may sign up for these interviews with the company of their choice through their Stags4Hire accounts.

鈥淚'm interested in mock interviews because it's an effective way for students to interact with their future managers and employers. Being able to properly interview, as well as successfully connect, is one of the vital attributes that matters across many industries," said Anthony Szymonik '18, a junior studying marketing with the DSB.
To sign up for a mock interview, login to your Stags4Hire account on my.fairfield. Click on Jobs and Internships on the left navigation bar and search for Mock Interview Corporation to see the list of available mock interview jobs.聽In order to apply for a mock interview, you must have a resume uploaded in Stags4Hire. Look at all the jobs prior to selecting the one you would like to apply for.聽You will only be allowed to apply for one mock interview.聽Select the job you would like to mock interview for and you will be prompted to select a time slot to do the mock interview.聽If there are no time slots available for an interview that employer is full, please select a different job.
