GSEAP Workshop Series Continues with “The Self Care Imperative”

Alumni, community members, students, faculty, and staff are invited to learn self-care skills on November 16.

The Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions (GSEAP) will continue its educator workshop series with “The Self Care Imperative” on Thursday, November 16 at 5 p.m. in Alumni House. Dr. Paula Gill Lopez, PhD, associate professor, department chair, and School Psychology program director will lead the complimentary workshop.

Participants will learn how the benefits of mindfulness can be obtained as well as best practices to include in a personalized self-care plan. Strategies for improving the quality of daily life will be taught and how bringing focused attention into everyday personal and professional activities promotes well-being.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who experiences stress in their life and is free and open to the public. To sign up please visit the registration page .
