Fairfield To Host Spring Career and Internship Fair — February 28

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´â€™s annual spring Career and Internship Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the RecPlex.

 

Students interested in meeting employers and learning about the wide range of internship and employment opportunities available to them should mark their calendars for the Career and Internship Fair on Wed., February 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the RecPlex.

Representatives from organizations in accounting, finance, marketing, engineering, medical/health, consumer products, graduate programs, and non-profits will be present, including Bigelow Tea, BDO, Capuchin Youth & Family Ministries, Deloitte, Epsilon, Ernst and Young, Fox News, Indeed, HamletHub, Inspira Marketing, Morgan Stanley, Only Good News, LLC, Prosek Partners, PwC, Serendipity Magazine, Subway, Tauck, The Princeton Review, TraceyLocke, TvEyes, Inc., United States Marine Corps, U.S. Army Healthcare Recruiting, Vineyard Vines, and more.

 

Here are a few tips for students planning to attend:

  • Dress for success
  • Bring extra resume copies
  • Identify and research companies of interest and prepare questions in advance
  • Develop an elevator pitch to answer the question, “tell me about yourself?”
  • Plan to follow up with employers after the Career and Internship Fair
