Apply to Win $1,000 Research Prize from the DiMenna-Nyselius Library

One undergraduate and one graduate student will be recognized for their research project and use of library services.

天美传媒视频无限制观看 students who are passionate about research are encouraged to apply for the DiMenna-Nyselius Library Research Prize. The $1,000 prize will be awarded to a student or students for excellence in undergraduate and graduate research projects that show extensive use of library services, resources, collections, and significant knowledge in the methods of research and the information-gathering process.

To be eligible for the Library Research Prize, students must submit a completed project that took place during the summer or fall 2017 or spring 2018. A draft version of a spring 2018 project will be accepted. All applications must include a completed online application form (available for both individual and team applications), a 500 - 700-word essay describing research strategies and use of library tools and resources, an electronically-submitted final or draft version of the research project, and a letter of faculty support. Media projects should be submitted as a printout version along with its media format or URL.

The deadline to apply for the Library Research Prize is Monday, April 16 and winners will be notified on Tuesday, April 24. A congratulatory reception will be held on Wednesday, May 2 from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
