Whether you run competitively or run for fun, this year’s Faxon Law Half Marathon & 5K, Lucas Challenge, and Lil Stags Kids Fun Run has something for everyone!
ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ is once again a proud sponsor of the Faxon Law Half Marathon and 5K, Saturday June 2 and Sunday, June 3, 2018. And back for another year is the Lil Stags Kids Fun Run, as well as the Lucas Challenge, which dares runners to run the 5K and half marathon.
The weekend’s begin Saturday, June 2 with the 5K followed by the Lil’ Stags Kids Fun Run at 9 a.m. Then on Sunday, June 3, the Half Marathon starts at 8 a.m., followed by a post-race beach party and awards ceremony.
Those who take on the – a total of 16.2 miles in 24 hours – receive an exclusive hat, a medal, a one-of-a-kind race bib, and a bottle of Henkell Sparkling wine.
Ready to ? Students, alumni, family members, friends, or faculty & staff of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ can use the code STAG5K for $5 off of the 5K registration fee, or use STAGHALF for $10 off the half marathon or Lucas Challenge registration fee. Children ages 4-12 of Fairfield town residents, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ alumni, and University faculty/staff can run the Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run complementary of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ by registering using the code FAIRFIELDKIDS . For members of the Fairfield Prep community, use the code PREP2018 for $5 off any race. Also back this year for the Half Marathon is the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ Cheer Station, located towards finish line on Puritan Road. The Half Marathon race started with just 200 runners has become one of the premier running events in the United States. Accolades for the race include being two-time host of the U.S. Women’s National Half Marathon Championship, three-time host of the National Masters’ Half Marathon Championship, and being routinely selected as one of the country’s top road races by Runner’s World magazine.
