Stags to Host Lace Up With LAX, Military Appreciation Day

Special Events to be Held at Home Games on April 11 and 14

Fairfield Lacrosse will host a pair of special events in conjunction with upcoming home games on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium on Wednesday, April 11 and Saturday, April 14. The Stags will participate in Lace Up With LAX and hold their annual Military Appreciation Day doubleheader.

Fairfield Women’s Lacrosse hosts in-state MAAC rival Quinnipiac on Wednesday, April 11 at 3 PM. As a part of the initiative, the Stags will be collecting new children's sneakers (dark colors preferred) on the concourse to be donated to in Fairfield. For every pair of sneakers collected, will also donate a pair of children's socks to Operation Hope.

Admission is free for all fans to all Fairfield Women’s Lacrosse regular season home games this season.

Next Saturday, April 14 will see Fairfield Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse team up for Military Appreciation Day. The Stags’ men’s team hosts Drexel in CAA action at noon, followed by the women celebrating Senior Day prior to their 3 p.m. meeting with MAAC foe Marist.

In recognition of their service, all veterans, active duty military, and emergency services personnel will receive free admission. Tickets to the men’s game are on sale now at . In addition, exclusive 2018 Fairfield Lacrosse Military Appreciation t-shirts will be on sale for $10 each (cash only). All proceeds will be donated to veterans support services and organizations.

April 14 is also Youth Lacrosse Jersey Day . Admission to the men’s game is only $5 for any child (12 and under) wearing a lacrosse jersey.
