Egan School of Nursing Among Top Programs in the Country, Best in State

In a 2018 ranking from College Factual, the University’s nursing program placed 11th out of all schools in the country, and first in Connecticut.

The Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies continues to receive national attention, recently being among the top 15 nursing programs in the country and the top nursing program in Connecticut. Additionally, College Factual’s ranking placed Egan graduates among the top 5% highest paid graduates in the country.

"I couldn’t be more proud of the Egan School’s extraordinary accomplishments that resulted in these rankings,” said Dean Meredith Kazer, PhD, APRN, FAAN. “The Egan School faculty, staff, and students continued to surpass our most ambitious expectations and I’m confident that we will continue to rise in the future."

The rankings from College Factual are the latest in a string of accolades. In their annual rankings for graduate schools, U.S. News and World Report named the Egan School among the best in the country in the category of Doctorate of Nursing degree, as well as Graduate Nursing degree. Both placements on the lists saw a jump of over 26 spots from the previous year.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´'s Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies programs use the latest in medical equipment and small classroom settings to provide a practical and engaging education for students.
