Unlock Your Potential Workshop Returns with “Presenting Strategically,” October 27

Paul Maloney, EdD, professor of the practice in Applied Psychology will host a complimentary professional development workshop entitled “Presenting Strategically” on Saturday, October 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Canisius Hall. As part of the Unlock Your Potential series, this workshop will focus on learning strategies, tactics, presentation preparation, Q & A, and dealing with difficult audience members, in order to present more strategically.

During the workshop, attendees will identify the top ten mistakes presenters make, develop a personal strategy, apply the four key physical skills for presenting, organize and prepare a presentation, deal with Q & A and difficult audience members, and develop a personal action plan. This workshop is geared toward individuals seeking to gain more confidence while presenting.

Dr. Maloney is an expert on organizational and human resources issues worldwide. His career includes senior level positions in management and organization development at NBC, Mobil Oil Corporation, and PepsiCo International, among others. As professor of the practice in the Applied Psychology Program in the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions, Dr. Maloney teaches organizational psychology, organizational development, performance coaching, consulting skills, and designing training and development.
