Fairfield Parents Can Take Part in the Parent Leadership Challenge to Unlock $100,000 for Student Education

Fairfield Parents celebrate their student during Move In Day

During the month of October, parent participation can make a big difference for students’ futures.

The Parents Fund will be hosting the Parent Leadership Challenge from October 1 to October 31. During this month-long class-by-class competition, if 50 Parents Leadership Council members are secured and 500 parents make a gift of any amount, $100,000 will be unlocked from the Parents Leadership Council. Every dollar generated during the challenge will serve to enhance Fairfield students' experiences.

The launch of the Parent Leadership Challenge was motivated by the success of the Fairfield Rising campaign and the University’s recent rise in rankings. To continue this momentum, the Challenge is being implemented to encourage parent involvement and increase awareness and support for The Parents Fund. Gifts to The Parents Fund provide immediate support for academic programs, scholarships, student activities, and continuous technology upgrades across campus.

In addition, parents of seniors have the unique opportunity to honor their graduate. The “Honor Your Graduate” campaign recognizes the impact Fairfield has had and will continue to have on graduating Stags. Senior parents can recognize their student’s hard work and dedication at Fairfield by making a gift in their honor. Parents can also celebrate their senior Stag by writing them a special message which will be placed within an exclusive, specially-designed celebration email. The congratulatory email will be sent to the senior a week before graduation in May. Please visit fairfield.edu/HonorYourGraduate for more information.

As the Challenge is also a class-by-class competition, the class year that receives the highest rate of parent participation will win bragging rights. Learn more about how to help unlock the $100,000 challenge funds at .
