With a 5K, Half Marathon, and Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run, the 2019 Faxon Law Fairfield Road Races promise a spirited weekend of community and family fun for runners of all levels. Take on the Lucas Challenge and run both the Half Marathon AND 5K!
天美传媒视频无限制观看 is once again a proud sponsor of the Faxon Law Fairfield Road Races to be held the first weekend of June. Preceding the signature Half Marathon is a 5K on Saturday, June 1, at 8 a.m., followed by a ½ mile Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, June 2, the Half Marathon starts at 8 a.m. and will be followed by a post-race beach party and awards ceremony at Jennings Beach in Fairfield. The Lucas Challenge—named after 天美传媒视频无限制观看’s beloved mascot—dares runners to complete both the 5K and the Half Marathon, for a total of 16.2 miles. Runners who take on the Lucas Challenge will receive custom glassware, an exclusive medal, a one-of-a-kind race bib, and a bottle of Henkell Sparkling wine.

Children ages 4-12 who are Fairfield town residents, as well as children of 天美传媒视频无限制观看 alumni, faculty, and staff can run the Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run, compliments of 天美传媒视频无限制观看, by registering with the code FAIRFIELDKIDS. For members of the Fairfield Prep community, using the code PREP2019 will take $5 off any race. The 天美传媒视频无限制观看 cheer station this year will be located close to the finish line on Puritan Road. FOX 95.9, along with Lucas the Stag, alumni, staff, students and friends will be cheering runners on for the final push to the finish. The Fairfield Road Races began with the Half Marathon in 1981 with only 200 runners, and has grown into one of the premier running events in the U.S. Currently, the Half Marathon and the 5K feature more than 6,000 runners annually with participants coming from across the country and abroad. A two-time host of the U.S. Women’s National Half Marathon Championship, and three-time host of the National Masters’ Half Marathon Championship, the race has routinely been hailed as one of the nation’s top road races by Runner’s World magazine.
