From October 21 to 27, Fairfield’s food scene will come alive with eager diners and scents of delectable food, all thanks to . More than 30 participating restaurants will offer multi-course, prix fixe menus for lunch ($10-$20) or dinner ($20-$35), or offer guests a special discount throughout the week. With restaurants like Brick Walk Tavern, Little Pub, Bodega Taco Bar, and more all offering special options for the week, the only difficult part about the week will be deciding where to eat.
If enjoying Restaurant Week doesn’t fill up Fairfield foodies, the Fairfield Museum & History Center, in conjunction with Experience Fairfield, is presenting the exhibition, “” through January 5, 2020. With a focus on how food shapes cultural traditions, local landscapes, and global economies, this newly-launched exhibition will explore how local foods are important to Fairfield traditions and how they’ve shaped our regional identity over time.
Fall in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ is also about a different kind of food — candy! That’s because the Fairfield Museum & History Center is also hosting on Sunday, October 27 in their Museum Commons at 370 Beach Road. From noon to 4 p.m., the area will abound with trick-or-treating, live performances, bounce houses, hayrides, and a costume parade. Also in attendance will be a variety of food trucks, including Cousins Maine Lobster, Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes, Super Duper Weenie, and more.
While October is quickly coming to a close, November poses another round of exciting area attractions to continue the fun all season long.
