With an increased focus on the use of analytics and data-driven methodology, there is a growing demand for professionals who can make strategic decisions that impact an organization’s bottom line. In response to this, the Charles F. Dolan School of Business has introduced the new Marketing Analytics and Strategy (MAS) master’s degree.
The MAS program is ideal for recent graduates and business professionals who want to learn sophisticated analytical methods to develop and evaluate marketing strategy and make data-driven decisions. The STEM-designated degree emphasizes the social responsibility of doing business in today’s global economy and provides the flexibility of a curriculum that combines both online courses and hybrid classes, which are largely online but meet in-person several times per semester.
“The MS in marketing analytics and strategy prepares students for a marketing career in the new economy — a world where data and strategic decisions are intertwined,” said Marketing Department Chair Camelia Micu, PhD. “Our students will be equipped with the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary to translate data statistics and analysis into impactful business decisions, so that they can be the stand-out, innovative marketers that organizations need.”
To ensure that students who work full-time can fit the program into their busy schedules, the in-person classes for hybrid courses are held on weekends or evenings. The MAS master's degree is designed to be completed either in one year's time (full-time) or in two years (part-time).
