Fairfield Lacrosse Set to Open 2020 Season at Rafferty Stadium

Fairfield men's lacrosse begins the 2020 campaign on Feb. 15.

Women begin action on Feb. 8, Men take the field on Feb. 15.

天美传媒视频无限制观看 lacrosse is set to open the 2020 season beginning this weekend on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. Women’s lacrosse kicks off the slate this Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. against Holy Cross, with men’s lacrosse taking the field the following Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. against Stony Brook.

Fairfield women’s lacrosse – the reigning back-to-back MAAC Champion – went 15-4 overall last spring en route to their second consecutive conference crown and NCAA postseason appearance. The Stags earned a share of first place in the 2020 MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll with two student-athletes – midfielder Kelly Horning ’21 and defender Maggie Reynolds ’21 – landing on the Preseason All-MAAC Team.

Admission is free for all fans to all seven Fairfield women’s lacrosse home games this season.

Ready to begin a new era led by first-year head coach Andrew Baxter, Fairfield men’s lacrosse hosts Stony Brook on Feb. 15 to begin a 2020 schedule that includes five squads that are either ranked or receiving votes in the most recent national poll. Coming off a historic offensive campaign in which he tallied 65 points, Dylan Beckwith ’21 was selected as a Preseason All-CAA honoree as an attackman.

Tickets for all seven Fairfield men’s lacrosse home games are on sale now at . Admission is free for Fairfield students, faculty and staff with a StagCard.
