Fairfield Graduate Programs Among Best in U.S. News and World Report's 2021 Rankings

U.S. News’ 2021 Best Graduate Schools rankings place Fairfield’s business specialty programs in finance, marketing, and accounting among the Top 25 nationwide and #1 in Connecticut. Our part-time MBA program is #2 in the state and the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies’ programs are Top 5 statewide.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ graduate programs in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business and the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies have again been named among the nation's best in the 2021 edition of the U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings.

Included on the Best Grad Business Specialty Programs list are the Dolan School's accounting, finance, and marketing programs, which remain among the Top 25 in the U.S.

The Dolan School’s accounting program tied for #20 with four schools including Harvard and Columbia University. Fairfield’s finance program landed at #25 on the list, between #21-ranked Yale and Dartmouth Tuck at #26.

The Egan School’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing programs once again ranked among the Top 75 in the nation for Best Grad Nursing Programs.

U.S. News and World Report rankings for Fairfield's part-time Dolan School graduate programs and full-time Egan School graduate programs are as follows:

Best Graduate Business Specialty Programs:

  • Marketing #18, and the only school in Connecticut ranked in the Top 20
  • Accounting #20, and the only school in Connecticut ranked in the Top 20
  • Finance #25, and the only school in Connecticut ranked in the Top 25
  • Part-Time MBA #141, and #2 in Connecticut

Best Graduate Nursing Programs:

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice #69, and #4 in Connecticut 
  • Master of Science in Nursing #71, and #3 in Connecticut 

Rankings were determined, in part, by voting from peer institutions, and were based on factors such as faculty resources, research activity and awarded grants, and student selectivity. Specialty rankings were determined by survey information collected from deans and directors.
