Fairfield alumni, parents, and friends can kick off the season of giving by making a #GivingTuesday gift of any size in support of students for others, and to promote the health and well-being of student-athletes.
On December 1, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ is once again proud to partner with the #GivingTuesday movement—a global day of giving fueled by social media. The #GivingTuesday initiative connects and encourages individuals to use their time, talent, and treasure to better communities around the world, aligning with our University’s purpose of transforming students into innovators and leaders who will develop creative solutions to solve our planet’s most critical issues.
Participants are encouraged to make a gift of any size to the area of need at Fairfield they would like to help with most, and share messages of support for Fairfield’s Jesuit education and experience on social media.
Gifts made on #GivingTuesday will support Fairfield students who are doing amazing work to help communities in need and will go toward every aspect of the student-athlete experience.
During Fall 2020 alone, 341 students enrolled in one of Fairfield’s 20 Service Learning courses and worked with 25 community partners to support those in critical need. The world needs Fairfield students now more than ever, and our community of alumni, parents, and friends can help make that happen.
