The default rate at Fairfield was a reported 1.30 percent according to the most recent data from the Department of Education. Earlier this year, Fairfield earned the No. 1 spot in the state on LendEDU’s report of the and fared in the top 20 percent of colleges nationwide for its offerings of need-based financial aid.
