The Mahoney's student section was a sea of red at the Nov. 18 arena opening.

The Stags will play on campus Saturday at 7 p.m. before a sold-out crowd; student tickets are still available.

After beginning the 2022-23 season with eight consecutive games away from home, Fairfield Men’s Basketball will make its long-awaited debut at the new on-campus Leo D. Mahoney Arena on Saturday, Dec. 3, against visiting MAAC foe and reigning conference champion Saint Peter’s. The 7 p.m. contest has been announced as a sellout, though student tickets are still available.

Current students can claim their free ticket via the Super Stags app. Tickets are currently open to Red Sea VIPs and will be available for all students beginning on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.  for more information and instructions on how to claim your student tickets.
 
Saturday's game against the Peacocks is the start of an eight-game homestand for the Stags.
 
In addition, tickets are selling quickly for the Wednesday, Dec. 7 game against crosstown rival Sacred Heart. Student ticketing will open 24 hours prior to tip-off for general students and 48 hours prior for Red Sea VIPs.

Fairfield Women’s Basketball opened the 3,500-seat, $51 million arena on Friday, Nov. 18, with a 77-53 win over Stonehill. The women’s squad plays its next home game on Sunday, Dec. 11 against Sacred Heart.
