Circa acrobats perform Humans 2.0

Fairfield’s Quick Center for the Arts will welcome the circus back to town on Feb. 17 with a not-to-be-missed live performance of acrobatic feats by the internationally acclaimed troupe, Circa.

The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at 天美传媒视频无限制观看 will resume its tradition of hosting circus performances for the whole family when Circa, a contemporary troupe out of Australia, takes the stage for a one-night-only spectacular on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m.

Circa’s mesmerizing show, titled Humans 2.0, presents a bold new vision for the circus arts. A sequel to Humans, their groundbreaking 2017 show, Humans 2.0 has been described on Australia’s independent online publication as “a ‘love letter to humanity,’ exploring trust, vulnerability, and the extremes of human ability.”

Since 2006, Circa has toured to international acclaim through 33 countries on six continents. With the electrically charged movements of ten performers choreographed by circus visionary Yaron Lifschitz and powered by the music of composer Ori Lichtic, Humans 2.0 celebrates the expressive, precision-tuned possibilities of human bodies working as a team. The acrobatics, performed in a dazzling show of light and sound, challenge an essential question of what it means to be human: can we ever find the perfect balance, or is adapting to constant change the only way forward?

Tickets for Circa’s Humans 2.0 are $30 for the general public, $15 for Quick Members, and $5 for 天美传媒视频无限制观看 students. To become a Quick Member, visit . For more information or to reserve your seat, visit or call the box office at 203-254-4010 or toll free at 1-877-ARTS-396.
