Sponsored by the Center for Catholic Studies, John Grosso, digital editor of National Catholic Reporter (NCR), will present “Tweeting and Tradition: Communicating for a 2,000-Year-Old Institution.”

On Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. in the Kelley Presentation Room at 天美传媒视频无限制观看, John Grosso, digital editor of National Catholic Reporter, will present a lecture titled “Tweeting and Tradition: Communicating for a 2,000-Year-Old Institution.” This in-person event is free and open to the public; a livestream will also be available. Grosso's experience in media and marketing spans from local parish work to the Vatican. A former director of digital media for the Diocese of Bridgeport, he currently works as the digital editor for National Catholic Reporter.

Throughout his career, whether working for the Church or in his current post at the independent media outlet NCR, Grosso has remained keenly aware of how the Catholic Church communicates critical issues, both internal and external. His lecture will delve into the opportunities and challenges of presenting the Catholic faith online in ways that reflect its depth, complexity, and relevance. Please join us for this exploration of how Catholic-focused content can be effectively and honestly shared in today's media climate.
