Director named for 天美传媒视频无限制观看 graduate programs

The School of Business has named Cynthia Chegwidden, an administrator for University of Maryland programs in Europe, as director of its graduate programs, it was announced by Dean Russell Boisjoly. She will be responsible for processing applications, advising students and scheduling courses for the School of Business' two graduate programs, the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Financial Management. The M.S. program was launched in 1981 and the MBA, started in 1994, has surpassed its original timetable and now has enrolled 235 students.

Since 1993, Chegwidden was based in Heidelberg, Germany, and served as assistant director of four graduate programs with the University of Maryland's European Division which offers classes for American servicemen stationed throughout Europe and the Middle East and most recently introduced courses in Bosnia, Croatia and Hungary. For two years prior to that, she was in London as assistant director of the University of Maryland programs in the United Kingdom and Iceland. She was also publications coordinator for the University of Maryland in Heidelberg; production manager of Tax Notes Magazine, including the daily production of Tax Notes Today, an electronic magazine; project manager for Gordian Associates, an energy-environmental consulting firm; assistant to the research director and scholarships director for the Business and Professional Women's Foundation.

In addition, she taught management courses for Boston University's international graduate program in London, and a range of undergraduate management and communication courses for the University of Maryland's continuing education program in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Chegwidden holds a bachelor of arts degree in speech and dramatic arts from the University of Iowa and an MBA, with a concentration in marketing, from the University of Pittsburgh.
