"The House of Blue Leaves" by John Guare, the season's second production of 天美传媒视频无限制观看's Theatre Fairfield, will be staged in the Wien Experimental Theatre in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts from March 1 through 5.
The black comedy promises to capture audiences with its zany characters, hilarious action and hidden indictment of the American Dream. Guest director Robert Bresnick says, "the play is a study of the identity crisis in America as a result of our obsession with mass media and pop culture icons. It's as relevant today as it was when Guare wrote it 30-some-odd-years ago."
Assisting Bresnick is Theatre Fairfield's Lynne Porter as producer and scenic designer, and Susan Haggstrom as technical director. Also featured are guest artists Hugh Hanson as costume designer and Lynne Chase as lighting designer.
Eleven 天美传媒视频无限制观看 students have been cast including: Brian Hoover, Maggie Gallon, Lindsay Loderstedt, Ed Walsh, Fred Gooltz, Liz Capinera, Marisa Marquez, Angela Lewonczyk, Megan Bell, Davis Wildman and John Chenier.
Performance dates are Wednesday through Saturday, March 1-4, at 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5, at 2 p.m. For tickets at $12, general admission, and $3 for students, call the box office at (203) 254-4010 or toll-free at 1-877-ARTS-396.
