Quick Center for the Arts presents Missoula Theatre's production of "Alice in Wonderland"

A "curiouser and curiouser" Alice, a White Rabbit, the King and Queen of Hearts, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter and Humpty Dumpty - all take the stage as the Missoula Children's Theatre and the summer camp program at 天美传媒视频无限制观看's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts present the second production of the summer season, "Alice in Wonderland," on Friday, July 28, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 29, at 11 a.m. This is the 11th anniversary of Missoula's association with the Quick Center's summer camp program for children in grades 1-12.

The production is based on two books by Lewis Carroll and features the talents of 60 local youngsters who have been in workshops all week learning about drama, choreography, stage makeup, creative movement and puppetry. "Alice" was conceived and written by James Caron with music by David W. Simmons and lyrics by Lewis Carroll, William Shakespeare and David W. Simmons.

The nation's preeminent professional children's theater company, Missoula Children's Theatre, is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana. It has been touring extensively throughout the United States and abroad for 27 years, serving more than 300 communities each year. A variety of roles for children in grades 1-12 is provided in each production, and middle and high school students are encouraged to audition for leading roles. In addition to the production rehearsals, the Quick Center also conducts workshops in dance, theater, puppetry, arts and crafts and creative movement as part of the camp experience.

"Alice in Wonderland" promises to be a fun-filled event for the whole family. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children and seniors.
