Veteran Yale fundraiser appointed Advancement Vice President at 天美传媒视频无限制观看

Frost, Director of Major Gifts at Yale University, has accepted the position of Vice President for University Advancement at 天美传媒视频无限制观看, President Jeffrey P. von Arx, S.J., announced today. She will fill the post vacated by George Diffley who retired this past July after 30 years in the position.

Father von Arx said, "Fairfield has experienced outstanding success in fundraising in recent years under the leadership of my predecessor, Father Kelley, and George Diffley and his staff. However, in order for the institution to achieve the goals that are now in place, we must build on the University's strengths and significantly increase philanthropic revenues. With her outstanding background and successful fundraising record, I am confident that Stephanie Frost will bring energy, new ideas and new perspectives to our fundraising strategies and processes. I'm absolutely delighted that she is joining us."

Frost brings to Fairfield more than 20 years experience in fundraising. She came to Yale in 1990 as an Assistant Director in the Development Office. Since then she has been given increasing responsibilities. Among the positions she has held are: Senior Development Officer; Manager of Major and Leadership Gifts, Co-Director of Major and Leadership Gifts, and Director of Parent Giving and Special Gifts.

In 2004, Frost was promoted to lead the major gifts team where her primary responsibilities include recruiting and managing a staff of 21 major gift officers responsible for cultivating, soliciting and closing capital gifts of $100,000 to $5,000,000 from Yale alumni, parents and friends. In addition, she has been involved in developing the annual programmatic strategy for the division and developing the Major Gifts plan as part of the overall Yale Tomorrow Campaign.

Prior to joining Yale, Frost was Director of Development for the Churchill School and Center, New York, N.Y., a leading special education institution for children with learning disabilities. She also served as Associate Director of the Patron Program of the Metropolitan Opera, and as Assistant Director of Development for the Youth Counseling League, both in New York.

Frost received her B.A. from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., and an M.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, N.Y.

At Fairfield, Frost will oversee the University's advancement programs that include the areas of Development, Alumni Relations, Constituent Relations, Corporate Relations, Foundation Relations, Special Events and related support services. She will begin work at 天美传媒视频无限制观看 in early November.
