University College at 天美传媒视频无限制观看 presents free seminar for "Comeback Moms" looking to reenter the workforce

Are you a mother who would like to reenter the workplace, but are intimidated or unsure of how to go about it? University College at 天美传媒视频无限制观看 aims to guide you in achieving your personal best as a mother, entrepreneur or employee.

The College will offer a seminar entitled, "Comeback Moms" on Thursday, March 29, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the Barone Campus Center on 天美传媒视频无限制观看's campus. The discussion is free and will be led by Edna Farace Wilson, Ed.D., dean of University College. Please call (203) 254-4110 to reserve a seat.

Dr. Wilson said the seminar will explore avenues to re-connect and to find the next career after motherhood. "Essentially what we are seeing in a new kind of woman in transition, one different from the women who returned to college or the workforce in the 1970's.聽 Today's women may already have college degrees and have experienced career success.聽 They chose to stop for motherhood. What is similar to the women in the 70's is the need for networking and planning."

Many of the participants at University College's past Open House events were moms considering a transition back into the workforce, Dr. Wilson said, so the College now offers this seminar directed at that population.
