Here's a Baker's Dozen compiled by the staff that includes anything but the usual suspects. There's something for every literary taste, from the groundbreaking ( Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller) to the down-to-earth ( Connecticut Walk Book by Connecticut Forest & Parks Association) to a work by one of our own ( Soul Catcher , by Michael White, professor of English at 天美传媒视频无限制观看). "Graffiti' panels, complete with markers, are set up in the library's lobby beginning April 14, 2008 for visitors to share their top books, movies and CDs.

*On Wednesday, April 16, the library is collaborating with the University's Department of Public Safety to "Stuff the Cruiser,' an effort to collect food for St. Charles Food Pantry in Bridgeport. A Public Safety vehicle will be parked in front of the library from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the drop-off site for donations. Also, on Tuesday, April 15, the campus community is invited to the library at 3 p.m. for cake to celebrate National Library Week.
