On Sunday, Feb. 24, the latest One Day University comes to 天美传媒视频无限制观看. This daylong educational opportunity is offered through University College. The event is held at the Quick Center for the Arts from 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and includes lunch. The fee is聽$219.
Another topnotch faculty takes the stage at the Quick Center on Feb. 24; one that includes Fairfield's own academic vice president, Orin Grossman. Dr. Grossman, an accomplished pianist, focuses on George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue - The Story of a Masterpiece." As a professor of music, his vast knowledge is literally at his fingertips and he takes advantage of his talent as a performer to illustrate certain musical themes in this famously American masterwork.
In addition to the field of Music, there are lectures on Psychology and Art, Earth Science: Volcanic Eruptions, Asteroids, Mass Extinctions and the Shape of Life on Earth and Political Science: America's War-Time Public Opinion From WWII to Iraq. Professors from Fairfield, Yale, Columbia and MIT share valuable insights that shed light on these potent topics.
Dr. Edna F. Wilson, dean of University College, noted the increasing popularity of the One Day University events and commented on the diverse topics included, "It is gratifying to see 天美传媒视频无限制观看's commitment to lifelong learning shared with so many in the community.
