FAIRFIELD, Conn. (January 5, 2017) 鈥 天美传媒视频无限制观看鈥檚 Dolan School of Business will host Money Talks:聽Financial Planning for College Students and New Graduates on Tuesday January 24, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room. This event is free and open to the public.

The seminar will focus onteaching students and newly minted graduates the financial life skills that are not taught in college.聽This one-hour seminar will focus on topics such as saving for retirement, budgeting and managing debt.聽Participants will learn how they can hit the ground running once they receive their college degree.

鈥淭his seminar, taught by an expert in the field, adjunct professor of accounting Scott Brenner, is a vital resource for students and recent graduates,鈥 said Don Gibson, dean of the Dolan School of Business. 鈥淥ur students gain foundational skills for a business career, but they also need to understand how to plan for their own financial future as well.鈥

"We strive to make well rounded members of society through a variety of different programs offered at Fairfield. Financial literacy is often overlooked and there are very few places for individuals to learn this unique skill set. The seminar helps to bring the importance of financial literacy to the forefront.鈥
