Getting Started

To ensure your successful transition to Fairfield, the New Graduate Student Checklist has been created to help you keep track of all the forms and tasks you will need to complete before the start of the classes. At least 48 hours prior to accessing the checklist, new-to-Fairfield students need to claim their NetID.

Register and Enroll

Graduate students can register for courses online via the student portal, my.fairfield.

Settling In

As you arrive at Fairfield, students will be required to obtain and carry a StagCard, the University’s official identification card. Additionally, students can register their laptops, desktops, tablets, and/or smartphones to our wireless network as well as participate in the textbook program, Red Stack Direct.

International Students

Finding Housing

We understand the task of finding rentals is a challenging one. Fairfield’s off-campus housing hub provides graduate students with information about searching for rentals, finding a roommate, local realtors, and transportation.

We are committed to helping graduate students throughout their professional development process. Comprehensive services are available through the Academic and Career Development Center that include career counseling, career readiness programs, leadership and professional development offerings, and on and off-campus recruiting opportunities.

Campus Employment

Many graduate departments and programs offer assistantships to graduate students. Assistantships are open to full and part-time graduate students who are fully accepted to a graduate degree program at Fairfield.
