Students majoring in Religious Studies at ��ý��Ƶ��ƹۿ� are devoted to studying religion as a human phenomenon.

Develop a holistic understanding of religion

The program offers various perspectives concerning world religion with classes ranging from contemporary theology to the rise of “New Age” religions. Religious studies students are challenged in the classroom through conversations and research projects to learn the history of religion and how it has shaped values and politics.

After graduation, religious studies majors have the same opportunities as fellow humanities and social sciences graduates. Our graduates become teachers and social workers, go on to law or medical school, get into business, or go on to graduate studies in a variety of fields.

Graduates of Fairfield's Religious Studies program have all the opportunities available to fellow graduates in the humanities and social sciences. Our graduates become teachers and social workers, go on to law or medical school, get into business, or on to graduate study in a variety of fields.
