Collection Goals
Library resources should serve the general research, informational, and curricular needs of its primary users: undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty.
Process
The Collection Development and Management Committee (CDMC) administers and coordinates collection development and management activities. The CDMC membership includes all faculty partner librarians.
The library receives an allocation for materials each fiscal year, which supports the subscription and/or purchase of all library resources, regardless of format. The University community is encouraged to submit orders for materials needed to support the curriculum: /library/services/suggestapurchase/
Access
Library materials are available to all current students, faculty and staff from both on and off campus. Off-campus access requires authentication via NetID. Community members have access to most materials while physically present in the building, though off-campus access to all online resources, including databases, e-journals, and e-books, is available only to authorized users only. Community members interested in obtaining borrowing privileges can learn more here: /library/about/policies/circulationpolicies/
