Women’s Volleyball student-athlete Maya Walker ’26 is a Behavioral Neuroscience major and Spanish and Health Studies minor from Stone Mountain, Georgia.
1) What I am looking forward to most about this season
I’m looking forward to working every day to reclaim our MAAC title.
2) What I most enjoy about being a member of a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ Athletic Team
I most enjoy the community that comes with the volleyball program. Whether on or off the court, my fellow student-athletes and staff are pushing us to be the best students and community members we can be.
3) My favorite Fairfield memory thus far
My favorite memory at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ is winning the MAAC title this year. There is nothing like the satisfaction and excitement of seeing the outcome of countless hours of hard work and perseverance.
4) How my experience at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÊÓƵÎÞÏÞÖƹۿ´ influenced my (personal, academic, spiritual and/or professional) life and perspective
My experience here has opened my mind to so many different types of people. I am grateful that even far from home, I have community that uplifts and supports students.
5) My plans after graduation are...
I plan on attending Physician’s Assistant school and hope to become a Certified Physician’s Assistant.
