Men Host First Responders Night Tonight, Women Return to the Court on Saturday
Fairfield men’s and women’s basketball will each host Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action on-campus on George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall this weekend. Both teams of Stags are in the midst of three-game MAAC homestands.
The weekend slate begins with Fairfield men’s basketball hosting Manhattan tonight, Friday Jan. 10 at 7 p.m., on First Responders Night. All first responders, emergency services personnel, active-duty military, and veterans will receive free admission to the game. The Stags will next be in action at Alumni Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 15 against Saint Peter’s.
Fairfield women’s basketball brings a 2-0 MAAC record into the weekend, after most recently defeating Monmouth in front of a record crowd of 2,311 fans on Kids’ Day Out. Tomorrow's 2 p.m. outing (Saturday, Jan. 11) brings conference foe Saint Peter’s to Alumni Hall followed by a Thursday, Jan. 16 visit from Canisius.
