We became fast friends at the end of sophomore year and started dating junior year. After graduation we did long distance MA to NY for about a year. Then I convinced Matt to give Boston a shot while I attended PA school at Tufts. He continued his career as an estimator for Structuretone Boston. During PA school I had a one-week break so we drove down to the Jersey shore for a beach vacation. On the way down we stopped at our favorite spot, the South Benson Marina in Fairfield. Little did I know that Matt would be getting down on one knee and proposing in the same town we met! We were married in June 2019 surrounded by our fellow Stag friends and family (two other married couples in our family met at Fairfield!). We still live in the Boston area but one day hope to move back closer to Fairfield!
