Alex & I met in the Gonzaga dorm lounge in September of our freshman year. Our first unofficial date was the day after we met, when we went to Pres Ball, and we started dating less than a month later. From the day we met when we were 18 years old we began to do everything together and have spent the last 11+ years growing up together. We were married in 2018 on the 8th anniversary of when we started dating in Mystic, CT, where Alex is from. My wedding vows began with, "We both sat in the auditorium during our Fairfield orientation when they explained to us that there was a good chance we'd meet our soul mate while we were in school, and I'm sure you rolled your eyes just like I did" and I have never been so happy to say that I was wrong. We celebrated our day with 6 other Stags by our side and we wouldn't have had it any other way!
